South Bay Beaches
The South Bay is located at the southwest peninsula of Los Angeles County, California and is names because it covers the beaches along the southern shores of Santa Monica Bay. Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, the Palos Verdes Peninsula are all cities part of the South Bay. These beach cities that are south of the L.A. International Airport all feature dazzling ocean view properties and quiet suburban neighborhoods with a variety of vintage, mid-century, and modern.The South bay is also one of the most diverse areas with an even distribution of all ethnicities.
Manhattan Beach also now has one the most expensive real estate prices in the United States. Manhattan, Hermosa, and Redondo Beaches used to be sleepy bedroom communities with large municipal piers and charming Downtown business districts. With the redevelopment of all three cities, both housing density and prices rose over the last thirty years.
